Along with presenting puppet shows, Studio Babette Puppet Theatre also offers workshops. Younger, elementary aged children enjoy fundamental puppet construction and the art of creating a character for their puppet. Depending on the age, participants might make simple puppets with wooden spoons or for shadow play, and or more complicated rod puppets. They will be allotted time to create a mini-puppet show for all to view.

Older high school age children prefer the more interactive performance workshops that Studio Babette offers, where they learn a brief history of puppetry in its many forms throughout the ages, and then get a chance to practice puppet manipulation and characterization with the use of puppets provided by Studio Babette.
